From toddlers to grandparents of toddlers, everyone feels at home at the YMCA. It’s no surprise considering our four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are at the heart of everything we do. YMCA members of every age and fitness level value our values. It’s the tie that binds our YMCA family together. It’s what makes us special and keeps our loyal members coming back for more.
Each year, thousands of Southern Nevadans – parents, teens, infants, seniors and at-risk youth – are enriched through the YMCA. Residents access hundreds of award-winning aquatic, health and fitness, youth and family, and sporting activities led by trained YMCA instructors and volunteers. In the process, they meet friends, enjoy social activities and make memories that last a lifetime.
Our three YMCAs are conveniently located near schools, highways and thriving neighborhoods. And they’ll “wow” you. Water parks, indoor and outdoor pools, fully equipped fitness centers, cycling studios, basketball courts, gymnasiums, racquetball and tennis courts, aerobics and yoga studios, computer learning centers and a 34-foot rock wall (no kidding!) are among the amenities. Locker rooms, kids and baby gyms, lounges, playgrounds and even a skate park add to the picture.
No one is turned away because of an inability to pay. The annual Strong Kids Campaign financial assistance program makes it possible. Thanks to generous donors, we’re able to provide recreational, educational and fitness opportunities to those who might not otherwise have access. One sneaker size doesn’t fit all, and the same goes for our financial assistance program. That’s why we’re always available to lend an ear and design assistance programs to match needs.
